that's a heckuva deer for that area. I hunt up in Montcalm County and you don't see very many 4 year olds.
Dude A Midwest whitetail like that ain't around 2 1/2. Some 2 1/2 have big bodies and a big necks. But not that big of a neck or body. It's at least a 3 1/2+
Never said he WAS a 2.5 yo. Just that in a place like Iowa (or say Alberta) with the right nutrition and genes he could be. I'm leaning 3-4 yo due to heavy chest but lack of belly.

Growing the extra G2's and G3's must be a common Michigan four year old thing, harvested one with similar traits.
