    Sure Germ.

Tempel is about a 6000+ acre farm about 40 minutes north of Chicago.

It is a family farm belonging to the Tempel family.. big steel tycoons like 80 years ago. Chicago money.

It's basically a huge forest preserve with small and larger towns all around it.. where no one can hunt or touch.. with exception to a few Tempel family members and their guests.. mostly made up of game wardens from the area. And is very monitored by its own security and local game wardens.

It's like it's own other county when you enter its boundaries.. because it reflects what the area once looked like 25 years ago and much further back.

And it still holds the genetic lines that once dominated the area..

    Doof,
The angrier you get the more blurred your vision becomes. I didn't accuse you of anything. I said "IF" you shed hunted Temple land then you trespassed.

I guess that shed hunting near it but not actually in it makes you more of an expert than someone who has actually spent 6 years hunting and shed hunting it. ..........and Doof, it was 36.5 acres.

BTW, I've been speaking to scorers of that area for quite a long time and believe me...... the deer are there. You should try getting some bucks scored and talking to the scorers sometime. Then you'd know what you were talking about. I guess it would help if you shot one that was scorable first.

You can close with whatever you want, Doof, it still won't cover your stupidity.

Did someone put out a fire on your face with an ice pick when you were a child? It sure looks like it.

    Have a good day.

    Really? That's ALL you had?

Nothing original? Funny? Even clever? Or correct?

So sad Greg.. and here I thought you actually had a clue on this one.

Oh.. and 36.5 acres was the lot.. I just excluded the 27.5 acre in agriculture. That's called mathematics.

    Keep it real Greg.. :D

I LOVE this guy. Today he says he shed hunts.. yesterday he didn't. I always wonder which is it?

    Which is it Greg?

We have a place just like that here, but it's about 3500 acres. Thank you

Duke, I've always shed hunted, never said I didn't. Maybe you could dig up a quote of mine where I said I that I don't shed hunt. I manage to find a few but not as many as a couple of my buddies. I kind of suck at it but I still go, maybe that's what you're referring to?

Just wanted to chime in here about some basic mathematics.

If the average is "135", it is VERY possible to not even have a deer that scores 135.

EX- 1 buck scores 145, and another scores 125. The average is 135.

Anything is possible, especially in Illinois. GregH, IMO has always proven to be knowledgeable and honest.
