150-160 yds. With a gun obviously. Bow kill was right around 45 yds.

Had a deer at 50 yards last year and I scooted up to 40 yards and made a great shot with the bow.

Longest official (lasered)kill on a running deer with a rifle was 576 yards (wounded by another hunter and I finished it). Not that it matters but it was a nice 120 class 8 pointer. Lots of archery kills (probably 6-8 P&Y class buck over a 3 year period) in the 80 yard range and I can't remember losing or wounding one. Most of the deer I've lost have come from less than 30 yard shots.

34 with bow. That is the only shot I have taken over 30 yards.

42 yards, double lunged, farthest I've ever shot as well.
Killed 2 at 41 yards and missed one at 41 yards that I held low on, just under his arm pit. The damn nervous buck never dropped or flinched so my arrow was perfect, right under his arm pit.
