Found this old door handle while out turkey hunting this past spring. It seems to be made of granite or some other type of stone.

looks like an old porcelain knob just weathered out.

a few years back I found an old civil war glass whiskey flask in excellent condition. researched it and found it is worth about $125 bucks.

Geez, you guys are finding dead bodies, civil war era items, old cabins, and old hunting caves stocked full of hunting gear...I find crushed beer cans and pop bottles full of piss from the 90s (according to the label).

Vintage lager, I'm guessing 40 proof. Could probably be used as gasoline.

I don't know how cool it was, but two years ago I walked up on dude doing his woman along the only trail (Public land) that leads to this particular stand I was planning on hunting. From a distance I said, "excuse me, but I need to get past you folks". He says "give us a minute". They then go on their way and I get to my stand for the evening hunt. About 15 mins into my sit I see 2 people walking my way on the trail I mentioned before. These same two lust filled young people stop right below my stand and start making out, for like 2 minutes! I was thinking "dude just can't get enough". I just let them go their way without saying anything. Oh yea, she was fine. lol

Found an ammo can full of MI Garand clips with 30 caliber blanks next to a big tree in a remote area of Virginia's George Washington National Forest in 1972. Left it there for the next guy to find.

I've found lots of things in the woods. Bottle dumb pre-1920s. Mastodon tooth - Donated to University. Buffalo skulls. marbles, lots of Indian artifacts - Spear points, knives, arrowheads, ax heads, etc... old guns (whats left of them) Most my stuff found walking the rivers from when I was a kid into my mid 20s.

Maybe coolest find was live hand grenade(s).

    It's all cool to me!

I was walking state land in around Mid Michigan and found an old two story house in the middle of the woods. The house was all white and looked to be over 100 years old. The odd and creepy part was that there was one door on the front, one window up in the peak of the roof....and plastic bottles everywhere! Either I found Rickys dad Ray or I walked up on a Meth camp.

Years ago I was hunting land that had nothing but pines on it. Decided to throw out a few pears for the deer. Went back about a week later and found a box turtle enjoying a pear lunch. Never did see a deer eating them but, if your after box turtles I highly recommend pears. LOL

seen a few wierd thing for sure.
a freaking beautiful 20ish year old gal walking her black lab. stopped by the remote pond i was hunting and started throwing stick for her dog to fetch. she was RIGHT UNDER ME!!. i wistled to get her attention but she never looked up. did it again a few minutes later and she started looking around but never seen me in the big oak above her.
she kinda got nervous and finally left.

seen a young 15ish year old boy "molest" (REALLY) his dog not far from my stand. he finally seen me in the tree and got the hell out of there.
i'll bet that still haunst him to this day wondering who that camo guy was:busted:

was bowhunting a area close to town years ago. couple of "valley dudes" came down the bike trail, stashed their bikes in the weed under me and "lit one up". getting stoned and the way they were talking (think valley girls of old), i finally could not help it and busted out laughing. they looked up, seen me and said " hey man, you ai'nt suposed to be hunting here.
i said, well maybe not but i'm also quite sure smoking weed ai'nt legal either. they jumped on their bikes and beat-feet.:jaw:
