I've tried several, and there's always something negative about them. Camp chairs are by far the most comfortable I've used, but are rather cumbersome to carry. Tri-stools are the perfect size, they fit right in the blind bag....but they are ball crushers for sure.......NOT epic, not at all. So, here's the question. And if it's not out there, somebody needs to invent one before September. What's the perfect chair for hunting from a ground blind? It's gotta be comfy and highly portable, not very heavy. I would like one that fits right in the blind bag....... Any idears any of you epic bowhunting.com'ers?
i once saw a tripod that had a flat cushioned swivel top, like a bar stool top... wish I could remember where
I would get the Huntmore 360 stool. Will cost you more then most but defnietly worth the money!!! That is so comfortable you can sit in it all day and never have a problem!
Get a smaller camp chair. Walmart sells them for $4 (last summer anyway). I picked up 3. Use two on my boat and one for my blind. They fold up to about the size of a large tripod stool, only with TWO front legs, your balls are safe from discomfort. No arm rests, which saves room and wasted weight/space. They are just as quiet if not more quiet than any tripod I have sat in, and did I mention they were $4? This thread spurred me into wanting a few more. I need another for when two people hunt. It slides right down into my DB bag, actually two of them will. But I now use a fieldline $25 backpack to tote my DB, and it slides in it just the same, only this pack is comfortable for miles, not mere feet before your shoulder cramps.
Worth the money!!! Figure it versus buying a new cheap stool every year or so! You will break even in a few years which this stool will definetly last!
The one I sat in at the ATA show, the seat material would creak when you moved around. Was that taken care of?
Good. The seat was pretty comfortable to sit in. Overall I liked the stool. Diamond.... I know BowTech Shooter bought one at one of the shows... If you are thinking about one, PM him for his thoughts on it.
