I like muscle jerky best ..easiest thing in the world to make
    3lbs deer
    1/4 cup Worcester
    1/3 cup soy
1 T onion powder (not salt)
    1 T garlic powder ( not salt )
    1 T salt
1 T black or white pepper
    1/4 cup of KC masterpiece
    Slice meat aprox 1/8 thick
Mix and let set for at least 24 hours
Dry in dehydrator or on cookie sheets in oven on lowest setting 150-160
Takes longer in oven because there's no fan to help dry.. Helps to flip each piece about half way thru
Will take about 8 hours .. Two tricks to success
Let marinade long enough and dry the meat not cook :)
That's just the basic recipe, which I like
You can put just about anything you like in it
Another good spin is pineapple juice and teriyaki
    Fresh garlic
    There's just no end ;)
    Have fun

I've made a lot of jerky. Tony's recipe sounds great! For a simple but awesome jerky I used stubs beef marinade and crushed red pepper and black pepper. Some of the best jerky in my opinion. I know it's not elaborate but it's darn good. Stubbs beef marinade. It's too easy. But Tony's recipe sounds great. I gotta make some of that.
