I like muscle jerky best ..easiest thing in the world to make 3lbs deer 1/4 cup Worcester 1/3 cup soy 1 T onion powder (not salt) 1 T garlic powder ( not salt ) 1 T salt 1 T black or white pepper 1/4 cup of KC masterpiece Slice meat aprox 1/8 thick Mix and let set for at least 24 hours Dry in dehydrator or on cookie sheets in oven on lowest setting 150-160 Takes longer in oven because there's no fan to help dry.. Helps to flip each piece about half way thru Will take about 8 hours .. Two tricks to success Let marinade long enough and dry the meat not cook That's just the basic recipe, which I like You can put just about anything you like in it Another good spin is pineapple juice and teriyaki Fresh garlic There's just no end Have fun Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I've made a lot of jerky. Tony's recipe sounds great! For a simple but awesome jerky I used stubs beef marinade and crushed red pepper and black pepper. Some of the best jerky in my opinion. I know it's not elaborate but it's darn good. Stubbs beef marinade. It's too easy. But Tony's recipe sounds great. I gotta make some of that.
