That's right, its the government. When I retired I applied for my military disability for a shoulder that blew out, arthritis, nerve damage and a couple other odds and ends. 17 months later, I find out they finally have my pension rated. Right after that, I learned that it can take a couple of months before it kicks in. Could be a total of 19 months to take action. Of course the retro check is going to be a nice one. Now, if I can get PCH to come knocking at the door.:D
I know all too well. Although, I didn't do anything about it till 11 months out. Then I went in, and got checked out. Yeah. You're right. That check is fun to get. lol.
