The one thing I want for christmas is a mandolin. I have been wanting to learn for a while now and I am hoping that atleast someone catches the hint. Here is the one I have my eye on.
I purchased jacket and pants last year, wore them this year. I like'm but if the wind's blowing you'll freeze your azz off. I wore them in OH this year several mornings in the high 20's low 30's with a 8-12mph wind and about froze.
X2. My fleece is warm, but a wind blocker, it's not. Still up in the air as to what I'm getting next year in the line of camo to solve this little issue.
I've gotten more than I deserve, in my life. This year, it's about giving: Sending my mom on a vacation of her choosing and got her a brand new computer(PC) and laptop(all 3 children chipped in for the computers).. Getting my sister a Bowtech Razors Edge (she's already shot it in the shop and loved it). She also is a professional photographer, so my bro and I got her a $500 Visa gift card so she can get some more equipment. Big year for her, she tried and liked venison sausage and may want to hunt turkeys this spring !!!! Got my brother a Bowtech Assassin in all black(currently on order). Outfitting it with Armortech HD 3 Pin, FUSE Drop Away. Axion HD Stab. and 2 Doz new arrows of his choice. I got myself a new Bowtech Assassin and am toying with the idea of getting the Hoyt Rampage XT... The greatest gift anyone has ever given me, comes in the form of my Salvation.
I put my fleece up and pulled out my ASAT bibs and jacket and it's served me well so far. I'll probably pick up some artic shield bibs and jacket for next year.
The wife REALLY wants to take me to Disney ...so our presents to each other for the next 2 Birthdays, 2 Christmas, 2 anniversary is a 10 day trip fro 2 to Disney ...we got a killer deal for $1,600 which includes the meal plan for both of us and staying in Disney ... so she has talked about it our whole marriage .... gonna do it ... she is so supportive of my hunting...
i love my mandoline!! thats a great christmas present right there! i wants a stan sx2 and some clothes and cedar arrows, really anything hunting lol
Injinji Compression socks Staub Dutch Oven Victorinix Vintage Swiss Army Infantry Watch I got my wife an apron
Some good QDM books are at the top of my list, my parents just bought 156 acres. A hooyman saw, I wish I would of bought one of those this summer. I wouldn't mind having the newest season of Heartland Bowhunter on DVD.
I'm looking for a late season buck as well. BUT with 30-50mph wind gusts and the temps being in the low 20's for the next couple days, I'll just stay inside.
I'd really like to recover my buck out of the river. The weather conditions aren't cooperating at all.
some steady work would be nice, construction job is killing me slowly and it will be a slim x-mas around here.
