What's it take for the perfect food plot?

    If you could plant the perfect food plot just for the sake of this thread, that was 3 acres, what would you plant to draw deer in year round?

    I know it will be different for different areas because of that is grown agriculturally in different regions, but lets see what we come up with.

    I think it would be something like: chickory, turnips, clover blend, sweet soybeans.

    Id like a plot with variety. Maybe about 5 acres with some clover and some wide strips of corn/soy mix. Also maybe some rape thrown in for good measure.
