Thanks! Points will be banked for sure! That Dall hunt I mentioned yesterday is a lot more feasible now. Sent from my LGLS991 using Tapatalk
It's at an oil refinery in my area. Will make life busy for a few years, but an ultimate improvement in the long run. Sent from my LGLS991 using Tapatalk
I'll be hunting OTC elk in Colorado with my wife in September. This spring I may be going back to turkey hunt in Wisconsin. Outside of that I'll probably just be bowhunting Missouri like usual. There is a chance that I will buy Illinois tags too, just have to wait and see.
Haven't decided if I want to jump into the game of points or just use that money for hunts. As far as tags go.. Whitetail Ohio Whitetail Kentucky Whitetail Indiana Whitetail (Giving up on hunting PA) Would also like to try Nebraska but not sure if I'll have that kind of time. Iowa points Elk Hunting Colorado or Idaho Kentucky Draw PA points
Well lets see. I will have OTC elk CO first 2 wks in sept. Waiting to hear on an antelope in NM. Put in for Maine moose point, WY elk point, and Co mule point. As always got my TX tags, just need to look for some more landowners and hope someone gives permission
I know right now I don't have the funds to take full advantage of a tag like that. So in the mean time Ill just add up the points until I know I will be able to afford the trip. Id hate to get drawn on something like that and not be able to go.
I can totally understand that. if you decide to draw I have a ton of experience in all the western zones, mostly 7 and 8 . With the right info it's something you can do on your own easy enough if you have the time.
Wow thanks. I have absolutely no experience what so ever in that neck of the woods or with moose for that matter. Im 38 and just now starting to be able to get out of TX and see what else is out there. Just wish I would have been able to start 10 yrs ago. Better late than never I guess.
So far just Kansas waiting on my tags to come in and will be heading to texas to mainly guide and not hunt. I have no lease this year so mainly hunting all out of state this year.
