Now I love my rampage xt but I would like something a like faster and just a little smoother. I know there is a lot of Mathew guys on here and I really like the chill and the bowtech experience. My question is what do you guys think about something with speed and smooth ness
Move up to the Faktor or Faktor Turbo. Smooth as a babies rearend and more than enough speed to satisfy when set up right. The Charger is a hell of a bow too if your budget is a little smaller.
I liked the bow and it was first on my list to buy at one point in time. If you are thinking of moving though, I go shoot everything I could get my hands on. There are a lot of great bows out now.
I shot a XT when I first started out and took some time off and sold it and switched to a Mathews and I'm glad I made the switch. Personally for me the Mathews handles better, but like stated by Sticknstringarchery, try out a bunch of different brands that are out there, one of the "less popular" brands might surprise you. The first year Hoyt came out with the Rampage XT, I thought it was a better shooting/feeling bow than whatever the flagship bow was that year. I think Hoyt caught on that people liked them and didn't have to break to bank to get them, so the following years, I think they lowered the perks on the Rampage a bit to get shooters back to wanting the most expensive bow
