On a 30 arrow Vegas 3-spot with a hunter setup, what would be considered a decent score? I haven't ordered targets, yet, but I'm starting to get back into shooting more now with the season winding down. I'm shooting a bit more at 20yds at my outdoor range bag, and I'm really fearing shooting at the targets once they get here:d Not that I think I'm shooting terrible, but I'm not going to drop a huge X count, that's for sure.

Maybe mid 280s to a 290?? When I first started shooting spots 4 years ago, I was shooting 450 vegas games (45 arrows) and averaging high 420's to low 430's. I'd say a 430 average. If you spread that average over 30 arrows, it's in the mid 280's.

The real secret is to not think about a score, but instead to think about shooting one perfect arrow..........the one you are about to shoot. When you start to think of the outcome it's VERY mentally overwhelming and difficult to focus on what you need to do to get there. That's what happened with my league score yesterday, I was cruising for a nice 447-448, and ended up focusing on the outcome and lost concentration......dropping 4 points in the final 15 arrows.
