I'm looking into bow hunting small game. I don't have a clue what bow I should get. I'd like a samick sage take down recurve bow but they don't have that in my area and it's expensive online. If anyone has any recommendations on an inexpensive recurve 200 dollars or less that would be great.

Compound bows are too expensive. Recurves are cheaper. I'm just a student so I don't have a lot of money.

If watching your budget there is always the big website, I'd look thru the big archery sites. Should be able to get going with something suitable for 150 -175 bucks.

check out Parker. They make compound bows but are super reasonable. I got mine brand new for 250 so you can definitely get a used one for less than 200 ready to go. I am a big fan and know some other guys on here are too.

Two things to keep in mind:
    1. Recurve generally shoot slower than compounds, have a shorter effective range and therefore may be more difficult if your intent is hunting.
    2. Again if you're planning on hunting, states generally have a minimum poundage.

You can probably find a old bear recurve or compound for < $150 (maybe <$100)...

I can't use craigslist cause I live in Canada, I've checked Kijiji, our version of Craigslist and there's nothing. I'm actually considering getting a vista sage 62" takedown recurve bow at my local basspro. I've heard it's a solid bow.
