true story! he never will listen to any one about turning his bow down! and he wounder why he almost falls out of his treestand ever year. and no it's not tickel from moonshiners!
Is this the same friend of yours that bought his kid a license without having him take the Hunter Safety Course?
When you asked what was wrong I was trying to come up with a reason why he had to shoot like that. I was hoping it was just his shoulder and not that he had the draw weight turned up too far.
he shoot to much poundage 70+ he could shoot much better with say 60 # i have seen that befor he us to clean up on 3-d but now he want speed!
Hopefully he'll back it off a little. You're right, he would shoot better at a less poundage and be more accurate.
We see a lot of sky pullers. To hell with form and low motion and factoring in things like cold weather and fatigue and nerves. Speed speed speed
I was one of these guys back a few years but learned once I went to a Mathews bow with a solid back wall. I hunt now at about 52-53 pounds. My first couple arrows I can pretty much pull it back straight but after that There is a little raise in the bow which is still pretty natural to most. I am sooooooo much more accurate now. I can now hit that spot within the spot. Tell your friend to stop trying to be muscle man for 2 weeks and back in down about 8-10 pounds and shoot. I bet after 2 weeks he doesn't crank it back up. He should also know that if he keeps this up hes asking for issues as he gets older.
