I've got the itch to sell my bow setup and get something new this year. I'm not sure what I should be asking for it. I plan on selling through Craig's list. If any of you are retailers out there or have sold/bought something similar please chime in with a number you'd offer (Theoretically offer of course).

    Here's the setup:
    Mathews z7 extreme 30"/70 lbs
    QAD ultrarest HDX pro
    Axion glz stabilizer
    Axion glx 5 pin sight
    Mathews arrow web t3 quiver
    6 Easton FMJ .340 arrows
    Plano all weather bow case

The bow and all accessories are matching lost camo. The bow case is black. Everything is lightly used and well taken care of. I am very careful with equipment and keep it in good shape.

You'd probably get more breaking it up and selling it separately. Take a look at similar sales on AT and it will give you a decent idea about used bow prices...

    Would think that's about right.

Traded in my 6.5 reezen last year bare and got 400, woulda got closer to 450-500 if sold it. So with the whole package wouldn't think that price would be out of line for a Z7

I'd sell the bow bare and make a AT account. Then list the accessories one by one and sell individually.

If you were to break it up and sell it on AT you would get more.

    Bow-500
    Rest-85
    Quiver-80
    Arrows-45-50
    Case-90
    Stabilizer-60
    Sight- 80

    Package deal around around 725

Make sure you figure in the cost of shipping when you sell and charger TYD

I wouldn't sell a z7. I have one! They are bomb. Legit hunting bow. I wouldn't trade straight across for the chill or the other one or any of the other ones for that matter. The z7 is tough. I like it. A lot.

    End rant.

I agree. I have the original Z7 and I would not trade it or sell it for any of the newer bows at this time. I personally don't think there have been many improvements made to the new bows since the z7.

Funny, I didn't think there was any improvement from my Drenalin until I shot the Creed.

I think the $600-750 range is good. Sold my Dren decked out for $550 to a guy I know that was looking to get back into archery. Had it listed for $625, but gave him a deal.

I sold my black Z7 back in December.... Had newer custom strings/cables, G5 sight, Ripcord Red, Mathews Quiver & few other small things for $650. Had it for sale less than 2 weeks... Do agree with some of the other posts - I love that bow :-) Had to do it to make room for a new bow this year though... As of now I only have my MR6 in the stable....

I agree. I have a Z7 Magnum and I will have it until I die. I am sure I will own other bows and I do (Mathews Totally Lost 2013 Creed), but the Mathews Z7 Series is the best I have ever seen, I don't think it will EVER be outdone!

Sell the bow bare. Then sell the accessories individually. You'll get way more for it that way.
I bought a fully set up bow with high end accessories, arrows, and a case, on Ebay a while back. After selling everything that came with the bow I ended up with a free bow and $100 in my pocket. Best deal ever, for me!
