I have a big 10pt in the 140s. I call him "Ghost" I have pics dating back 3 years. He shows up at my feeder 3 or 4x a week all year long but a few days before bow season or a few days after he disappears like a "Ghost" no more pics of him until a few weeks after the season is over. Last year I seen him on Nov 6th chasing a doe with 2 other bucks and the year before that on Nov 5th chasing. I have a pretty good idea he beds on the property next to mine. Any ideas how to get him mobile or to hunt him other than hoping I get lucky and have a doe lead him passed my stand (That hasn't happened yet in 3 years). The last pic I have of him this year was Oct 1st (opening day) around 7am but the wind was not good and I didn't hunt until the 2nd.
