Water boils at 212 degrees, low temp hot melt about 240 degrees. Not much difference huh.

After a little work with a pliers I was able to get the nock out without harm to the nock or the arrow. So in conclusion they were not glued, thankfully. I'm rather impressed at how tight the nocks were in the Easton shafts, however wasn't exactly easy to get the nock out. I will be building my arrows once I pick out what arrow wraps I want to go with and get my fletchtite in the mail. Thanks guys for responding! :tu:

Strange, none of those specs said boiling water (or heat since it's all the same now) was okay for any amount of time (you said 10 seconds was okay), in which case boiling water for quickfletch's is bad too... you can't have it both ways. You can argue with yourself on that one. I'm sure we'll run into each other on another thread.

I'm just happy Marauder got his nocks out! Cheers!

I should apologize to every animal I've killed in the last 5-6 years for shooting them with an arrow treated with "heat"! lol

On second thought, if I missed anything, I have an excuse! My arrow was ruined due to the boiling water!
