Chirs I believe does not have any kids, but he hunts in a mini-van. He sleep in there at public land locations. He hunted last year I think for under 3000.00 with tags.

    Iowa
    Ill
    MO
    Wis

Not bad, he shot some hogs on public land

    Yawn.

That statement just makes you a liar.

And the 10 other characters needed to post.

Sorry magic, I hope your thread doesn't get hijacked by yet another GMMAT rant.

I'm lucky enough to be attempting what you describe on my 85 acres magic. It's a lot of sweat and hard work making a property a deer haven and I spend many hours working out there. And believe me it doesn't make it EASY to kill a monster. I have 4 cameras out and rarely catch one of the big guys showing himself. Even more rare is him doing it in daylight.

I will consider any good buck I kill on my property one of my most prized trophies, because I worked like hell to make it possible.

These deer still have all of their survival skills and have free choice where the travel and feed. All I am doing is trying to give them the best choice as to where to live.

    1. If you had the money and time would you do everything in your power to develop a property for producing trophy deer? Yes!

    2. Would you view the bucks taken there any differently than bucks you took under different circumstances? No...well, they would be BIGGER, I hope! :D

    3. How would you respond to internet chatter about your hunts not being real hunts or canned hunts or your deer not really being any accomplishment? I could give a flip

    4. If you were invited to hunt such a situation would you go? Absofrigginlutely!!! :D

I would even invite you to come with me, Todd ;)

I buy a lotto ticket every Friday afternoon after work. I already have the farm picked out and everything. Close to 900 acres of whitetail paradise. Now if that ticket would just match up like its supposed to....

If the Lakoskys, Kiskys, or Drurys called me up tomorrow and invited me for a crack at some of their land I would be there before they hung up the phone.

yup, your a liar. To a T? Your a liar.

Yeah, you've been here and how many places did you hunt? That's what makes you a liar, you know better but still try to lie about it.

Yup, 3 places 10 miles apart. Never hunted the same place twice huh? Now lets see, I have 6 weeks to hunt, minus Sundays so that's, 36 days afield, I hung 4 stands in my core area several hundred yards apart from one another plus the other places I hunted not to mention I killed my buck on Halloween in the hollow so I hunted less than 30 days afield several times here at the house, and since I hunted over where I killed my buck, and those stands were quick for after work hunts because of limited time, yup, I think I was in one of those two stands 13 days out of 30. Nearly 30 years of hunting put those two stands in that funnel so WOW, how absurd is that? LMFAO.

And man, I didn't know I was good enough to shoot 80 yards across my food plot, I appreciate your vote of confidence but I won't be taking those shots. (as stated in the previous thread and of course it's still misquoted)

And my post/reply let's see, my post was directed 100% to magic's question. HHmmmm

You can't not respond Jeffy, it's not like you to NOT get the last word in.

When the tension rises too high, all one has to do is inject Alyssa Milano to calm things down.....

Oh and I forgot, I was filming Ben every other night for the first 3 weeks so cut that number in half.

    LMAO Jeffy, now I'm a liar.....now that's rich.

And whatever Jeff, nice try. I should care less what you post but when you post lies,

And I was right, see you have to post, you can't not get the last word in.

    Carry on.

I like deer hunting when its hard or when its easy.....tonight was easy for me...Killed a doe at 4:45 today. Was on stand no more than 45 seconds when I saw the first doe.

Gri22ly--I used that knife you helped me sharpen...It cut through that deer like a razor tonight! And yes Josh, she DOES like skinny rednecks....especially if you give her a free "ride" on your "choo choo". :)
