I hunt this 150+ acre property with two other guys...we have 5 bucks on camera that frequent the area and 3 of the 5 are shooters...my question is, If you shot one of the bucks would you stop hunting that area and give the other guys a chance?...mind you we each have two buck tags...

If they would for you, you should extend that kind of respect but if not go for it. You could try public land or find some othe piece of property to hunt for the second buck.

    Personally...

I share private property with another hunter, and if one of us gets a buck, the other helps push and scout. It really depends on your relationship with your crew...would they do the same?

    Karma.

If you only have 5 frequent bucks, you might want to help improve the buck to doe ratio by doing a self imposed earn a buck program (shoot a doe, earn the right to shoot a buck). I would personally give them a chance if you get a buck. I passed a small 8 pointer for my brother in law, twice, on opening day because he just got into deer hunting and I wanted him to get his first deer. Unfortunately he couldn't get the job done but it was the principle that counts.

Ok were all on the same page I was just curious what others would do...If I shoot a buck I do plan on backing out and giving them a chance as well just like I did for one of them last year I do hope they'd do the same...we never talked about it but I just figured it was a good idea...they have hunted the property already this season with no success yet..I haven't had a chance to get out to that property but I will as of monday I cant wait!...I have been out on another private property and public land so I'm not hurting for places to go. As far as the earn a buck deal...only one out of the three of us has a doe tag for that management zone...so that wouldn't work...we have 3 does that live in the area.

I would, if I killed a buck. Do yourself a favor and talk to your buddies before it happens.
