Im in my stand. Seen two big bucks so far. 30 degree temps but 30 mph winds. Would you stick it out in hopes the wind dies down or cancel. The all day sit and go home

If the winds aren't creating a dangerous situation for me I'm going to sit up there this time of year & wait it out.

Wait it out. If the wind is or becomes a safety issue, by all means get down and go home.

Well the sun is finally out but the wind is still here...do high winds influence movement?

Deer move in the wind. You just won't hear them as easily. You've already said you've seen two bucks :)

the problem i see is arrow flight in 30 mph winds. i think it will hurt the movement of your arrow more then deer movement.

I have the same concern with the wind moving my arrow.

well i stuck it out. saw some more bucks right after posting this yesterday but then NOTHING from about 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. the rest of the day.

    Stupid deer =)

Still glad I finished the all-day sit...knowing my luck, if I had gotten down early, it would have been just in time for a monster buck to walk by and see me climbing down.

Glad you stuck it out it's always a debate when you have bad weather but when the rut is on I would rather say I was in the stand and tried than I never even went out. You never know!!! And what else would you rather do Ha Ha!!!! HUNT!!!
