I had made the decision to buy the NAP Apache after doing a lot of research and reading a lot of reviews. Once I recieved it, I began adjusting it and noticed the screw that allows you to raises it up and down was broken. So I sent it back and recieved the replacement today. As soon as I opened it out of the package it fell apart and upon inspection, it is broken in the same exact spot.

Now the question "What would you do" comes into play.

Should I send it back and get it replaced AGAIN, or send it back, get a refund, and get another rest.

If I were to get another rest, I would want a full containment, drop away rest under $100 (preferably under $75).

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Note: I bought a brand new Z7 Xtreme a few weeks ago and haven't had the chance to even shoot it yet because of these issues. Our season opens Oct. 1, so time is really important on either decision I make.

I wouldn't play games with it anymore and just go with another model or brand altogether. Good luck buddy

Is it broken or are you unable to tighten it? I just got one about a month ago and they put some lock tight stuff on the threads which make it really tough to tighten it so it doesn't move. I thought mine was bad as well but i just cranked the screw down and it was fine.

Where are you purchasing your rests from? Direct through NAP or from a retailer? There's a ton of people here who are using the Apache and this is the first time I've heard of that issue, let alone the same issue happening twice.

Also, is this on a standard Apache or a Micro adjust? Posting photos if you can would greatly help.

IMO the Apache is a great product and I wouldn't be discouraged by a couple quality issues. Contact NAP direct and they will take care of you, no questions asked. PM me if you need contact info for them.

I use the apache and have never had any problems with it.
But if I did I would pay a bit more and go with the fuse ultra rest. once you put it in the locked position it is full containment.

I agree with Justin " Contact NAP direct and they will take care of you, no questions asked." I've done this with many other products and the companies will bend over to make you happy. Last thing any company needs is to mistreat a customer and they write a bad review of their product and service online. All you need to do is Google them. Good luck!

It's actually broken. The screw itself was snapped on both of them.

I purchased it from Sportsmans Guide. It's the standard Apache. One of the main reasons I bought it were because of all the good reviews from here.

I tried calling NAP and it said that the mailbox was full so I'm assuming their customer service is closed now.
