What would be the most valuable asset to you if the SHTF?

Guns and ammo. I would target all the criminals and thugs. I would steal and take assets from them without feeling any remorse.

I would want knowledge, it's the only thing people can't steal from you. No one will care who owns the land, guns and ammo will either get you killed or make you kill others, not something id want. Lots of food and shelter makes you a target. If I had a bow and plenty of arrows I would be good along with a knife and fire starter. I would want to appear to be a "nothing" and let everyone else kill each other

Water.

He has enough guns for the whole town, he would be fine! Plus, 90% of the time he isn't home...so my luck, when SHTF it'd just be me!

 

I have a pretty good stock pile of guns and ammo. The thing I would need most would probably be fire starter, water filter, and probably a well stocked first aid kit with antibiotics. If you get hurt the thing that will take you out first is the infection nevermind other people.

And I am glad I am not married to PinkPony. Sounds like she would leave her husband high and dry as long as the dogs ok. LOL!

Yeah he'd probably be fine, besides I've seen pics and I know if he came home he'd have plenty of horse meat and also transportation all in one place. :lol

I'm thinking I'd like a hobbit hole bunker and guns and ammo. The bunker needs plenty of hidden air circulation and also a narrow entrance with some sort of spring and weight automated security device for when I need to reload. As far as food and water, I'd design it to collect it's own fresh water with a sistern and I'd have plenty of fresh meat from thugs trying to break in....ewe.

 

Don't mention horse meat! He already said we could survive for a year or two with the supply I have!

 

Toilet paper and booze. This will be more valuable than guns, ammo, or food. I will use it to barter for easy women which I will use to procure arms amassing an army which I will use to institute my new world order...

Well if SHTF my 12 gauge would be with me 24 7 I am like Clint Eastwood in unforgiven my pride will not force to me a pistol

 

I am going to go with a water purification system.

 

This and I could survive a while. Minus the gh. Yuck!
