My first now is a diamond razor edge. I haven't killed anything with it yet, hopefully that will change next year.
It was 1974: Jennings Super T - the limbs had metal brackets with wheels that had off center axles for cams. NAP Flipper rest Easton Game Getters 2018 Kwikee Kwiver Savora broadheads "No-Glove" and kisser on string I shot my first buck (and chipmonk) with that bow.
First bow was some Bear that I got when I was 6. First hunting bow was a Golden Eagle that I got when I was 13. No idea which model it was, but I know it was pre 1997.
My first bow was in 1978 a browning cobra had it for about 5 years then a PSE nova I had for about 5 years then I got my first hoyt. (I cant remember what it was) Had it for 13 years then bought a hoyt Ultra sport in 2002. This year Im looking to buy the Rampage xt and hope to have it for a few years.
The first bow I shot was an old Bear compound my Dad had lying around, I shot my first buck with it. The first bow I ever bought for my self was a High Country.
My dad got me a 35# golden eagle from a classifieds board at his work. I was just a little guy but i still have it. I'm actually thinking about setting it up for bow fishing. Next was my Mathews FX i got at the local pawn shop. That pretty much set for the addiction. I only had it a few months and got my tax check and z7x. A new guy in my group at work told me he went to the same pawn shop and got a bow to start playing with. He saw my z7x when we went to lunch the other day and heard me talking to a bunch of guys at work. He thought it sounded fun so next week we're going to take him out and get it set up for him.
My first bow was a Lil' Banshee by Barnett... I dry-fired that thing All the time... The cams finally flew off of it one day and I can still remember that feeling of fiberglass in my hands... :D
Barnett RC-150....Me and friend that play for Virginia Tech now play for the Eagles was shooting it, when the limbs came a part. We were both sweating bullets because he had a game that weekend and he had a limp. I though Beamer was going to kill the both of us. We still laugh about that.
My first bow was a fiberglass longbow that my brother and i shared when we were kids. My first hunting bow was a 40lbs recurve followed by a Golden Eagle, then another 1990's golden eagle, then upgraded 2 years ago for my first New Bow, Iceman. It is true what they say, dont have to break the bank to kill deer, but it is more enjoyable if you do. lol
had a youth model darton. Killed my first deer with a darton impulse, hard to believe its been 18 years ago.

Very first bow was a Bear Magnum recurve. First compound was a Bear Whitetail Hunter, you all remember, the one with the brackets that held the cams in place. After a year or so with that, I bought a Hoyt Prohunter. Man that was like going from a Pinto to a Mercedes. What a difference in the way they shot. Blessings.......Pastorjim
first bow White Bear 76er. I still have it. Will start letting my nephew shoot it this spring. Then hopefully my granddaughter. I also faintly recall a natural colored fiberglass longbow but I don't remember if it was mine or one from the lodge we stayed at in Ontario.
My very first was a ben Pearson recurve which I still own but let a friend use it to shoot fish.First compound was a Jennings forked lighting(youth bow) I received this bow about 30 years ago. I let a co worker have this bow for their kids and several years later I had forgotten about it. He opened his own shop and I went to work for him years later and he found it in storage and returned it so I have my first compound . Ironic thing is that my 13 year old son has been shooting longer than many of the members here. Here is his first bow when he was 2. Home made recurve his paw paw made. 5# @ 12". Lol
It was a Bear Youth bow. I was 8 years old. I don't remember what model, but it was a true compound that maxed at 30 lbs.
First was a little green fiberglass recurve. First compound was a brand new Golden Eagle. (not sure what model it was though)
Bear Whitetail II that my dad bought me for Christmas when I turned 16. I'm pretty sure it is still in my basement somewhere.
