I still have mine. Took many fast trips down a tree with that thing. Those where days when nobody even thought about a safety belt! Once I got in place I tied a rope around the tree and then to my leather belt.

35mm Stealth Cam, it was alright (at the time, it would suck compared to my Coverts). That cam got stolen years ago though..... Suckers

Being in electronics at the time, I built a homebrew PIR board with a microcontroller and hooked it to an cheap digital camera. Put it in a Scooby Doo lunch box. Took OK pics, went 3 months on a 6V lantern battery. Lunch box leaked rain, never re-set it up.

Got a cheap 0.3MP, don't remember brand, but think was Wildlife Innovations, went about 10 days on a 6V lantern, took terrible pics. At the time was on a local farm so I could check it every week and I went to rechargeable 6V. Cammed a ot of deer, now in a closet somewhere.

Went to a 1.3M Wildlife Innovations to use on my new land in 2012, 2.5 hours from my home. 2 weeks on C batteries, OK day pictures, never got a nite pic but was in a bedding area the deer don't move in at nite. Dawn/dusk with flash were OK tho. Was cheap. Had new land I was worried cam would disappear, but not many people out there (lots of deer tho, and cammed a 150 class 8 pointer). Used a short time and went up every 2 weeks to check. Won't work long term if I am not there that often. Flash and cam spooked deer.

Now I just bought a Bushnell Trophy Cam HD 119437c (HD, non-black LED, no internal viewer) online. Wally world has them $149. Couldn't pass it up! This one is slated to go over my new mineral site this spring when I go up after gobblers.

Pre 92@ Cabelas for $35.00, still works till this day, the other one I got at the same time pooped out 2 years ago, great video this had, pictures were a bit orangy but were good enough for it's purpose. I'll retire it this year due to the slowness of it's trigger speed, specialy with the TC's out now.
