As a kid our family watched the Wensel Brothers video's allot. Their techniques they used while practicing and shooting their bows we tried ourselves. They had some great Idea's.

Hands down... no question about it -- from an ARCHERY perspective, GRIV puts out the finest and most technically savvy videos:

From a BOWHUNTING perspective, look no further than Dan and his friends at Blood Bros:

Yep. Went out to dinner with Jarrod in MN after the show one night. Dan wanted to go in a different direction, but Jarrod is still planning on making extremely informational videos in the future.

Thanks for the heads up, Dan; I wasn't aware of that.

Still look forward to any new stuff they put out if it remains in the same vein as the previous releases...

Any idea what "direction" Dan wanted to go as far as where he's headed next?

I've heard good things about GRIV over on AT. I'm thinking about purchasing his tuning DVD.

Not sure exactly what direction he wanted to go. Like Steve posted earlier, I only know that he started Hunting Beast. www.huntingbeast.com

Hey Guys... Im not the one who wanted to go in a different direction. Jarrod wanted to buy Blood Brothers off of me
I am still selling the BBO DVD's and you can buy them cheaper at my new site:
    www.HUNTINGBEAST.com
Still working on great public land and average guy hunters being able to use superior knowledge to compete with rich guys who buy there deer...
I appreciate the support and all the great comments I have been receiving from everyone.

Dan, I respect you a ton and only edited part of your post for that reason. This isn't the place to air dirty laundry, as we don't know all the facts. Maybe in my previous post I should have added "and this is only one side of the story."

    Thanks. -Dan Schafer

Hill Country Bucks by the Blood brothers is fantastic.

Lately when people ask me what books and videos have helped me to become a better hunter I have begun responding by saying.....any book that says hunting is hard work year round and one must do things above and beyond what others do to be succesful is a video I want to watch. Also, any book or video that talks philosphy of life/meaning as it pertains to the hunting experience is another tool in my arsenal. When one approaches their hunting passion with hard work, discipline, and a sense of peace that their way is genuine to their soul, then I believe they have succeeded whether they never kill a deer, or whether they kill a thousand.
