This was my baby 1999 Jeep Wrangler inline V6 4x4 5 speed Manual trans with all the bells and whistles in and out....this was the day I sold it last year before my daughter was born. I really regret selling it...should have sold my kidney or something.
lol I don't like to think about it very much...I wasn't really working at the time...girl friend was pregnant almost due...fear really made that move for me..fear of being broke..and fear of a raging hormone woman. I regret the sale. Looking at my by toothless daughter smile at me and want to eat my nose makes me forget about the jeep though.
Lol, I was just bustin your chops. Anyone with a brain would have made that choice in a heartbeat. For what it's worth I think your priorities were in the right place.
A buddy of mine just bought a baby blue 1979 911 turbo with 9k original miles,he let me drive it the other day and it was a blast.. I was privileged to work with him for several years in a high end shop I have driven a ton of exotics ..including Ferrari's , lambos and lotus ....
I want my 98 Acura Integra GSR back (I totaled it when I was 20) or a Integra Type R. Nothing I've ever drive was more fun to drive, absolutely loved that care. It loved being abused, revving it up to 9k RPM, that VTEC engine would scream lol. I unfortunately lost all the photos I had of it when my old laptop crashed and never did recover it, the only thing I have to really remember it by is the write up in the local paper after I totaled it out . It looked exactly like this other than mine had a sunroof. It's body was completely stock, the only thing I had on it that wasn't stock was was a K&N air filter and a bigger exhaust.
I have always wanted a Dodge Ram 2500/3500 with the Cummins turbo diesel motor. 3/4 ton, or the one ton dually version, and MUST be a 6 speed manual transmission. I absolutely will not buy an automatic transmission from Dodge, they just won't last. I want a quad cab, maybe even a mega cab. Long bed if I go with a dually, short bed if I go single wheel. Single wheel I would like to have a 3 or 4" suspension lift with 35" tires, dually I would like a leveling kit with 35" tires. I'm most likely going to pull the trigger on a truck like this within the next 2 years at most. My current truck is always breaking down and consuming my free time by turning wrenches.
Detamaso Pantera is at the top of the list, we have a few in the general area I see from time to time. More practical and a car I've almost bought a few times would be a 93 Mustang Notchback.
