I do most of my bowhunting and other types of hunting by just picking trees and sitting down. As I get older though, I can't sit as long as I want because the seat I use gets hard and uncomfortable. What type of hunting chair/seat do you guys use?

Whether it is lawn chairs for sitting by a fire or camping, or the seat I am on for Hunting. the seat must not have a bar on the front edge of the seat, if it does it will always cause me to be uncomfortable and my legs to go asleep.

don't remember the brand, but Cabala's carries 2 different swivel tripod seats, in my 60's and I can sit in them for hours... just be sure to try them out in the store first... one of them clicks when it swivels, buy the other one...

I have used bag chairs several times, but they are so awkward and a pain to carry in. Anyone have any links to what is good?

There are some nice guide series chairs on sportsmanship guide for not a lot of money. They have a back and swivel and fold up. The seat is nice and soft too.

a $10 tripod stool from Bass Pro is my usual standby with one of those bag hot seats on it for cushion. easy to haul around and just the right height. Cabelas has those very nice swivel chairs with great comfort but the weight rules them out for where I hunt.
