Under Armour makes the best stuff out there, but the problem is..... IT IS SO FRICKIN EXPENSIVE! Every clothing item costs over 100$ I wish they could lower the prices

well ya really cant use the same set for early season and fall as you would need for a cold winter , i have the cool set and the warm set i accidently wore the heavy set opening day and had to take them off at my stand .......My one friend decided he would save money and get the inbetween set and there to hot for early season and not warm enough for late season , there only comfortable in 40 - 45 degree weather , they got ya by the balls you almost need a set for each season .

I don't really like Under Armour that much. Let me fill you in with a small secret. When layering in cold weather, not every single layer has to be a $100-200 camo layer. A brown $15 fleece will be just as warm, and just as camouflage under neath your outermost layer which is camo.

I hate wearing bulky jackets while bowhunting, so recently I have resorted to layering thin/warm fleece pullovers/vests. I stay blazing warm without all the bulk. I can shed layers if it warms up. And best of all, it was about 15% of the cost of any decent camo alternative.

Like others have said it all depends on the temps and how active you will need to be. Case in point a lot of times I have a .5 to 1 mile walk through rough terrain and have to set my stand and sticks. I would be sweating my balls off with the heavest base layers on even in the coldest temps. Which really sets you up to be cold all day. As others have pointed out layering is most important. A lot of times I am just in my base layer (top) on the way in and then add layers once I am ready to sit.

I often also mix different weights from top to bottom.

I agree, Under Armour is way over priced, their are other brands that use the exact same materials for 2/3 of the cost if not less. Paying for brand rather then what you should be paying. Then again same could be said for alot of other items I purchases. E.G. Mathews
