So I'm new to shed hunting but I understand to be as successful its about covering ground and putting yourself in the best places to find bone which are usually related to food and bedding areas. Our property has a lot of swampy willows areas where you can't see as far as in the hardwoods. How do you guys cover these areas when shed hunting? More passes? Cover the areas of the swamp with the most sign?

    Thanks in advance!

Follow trails. Look at aerials to determine what part of it is actually bedding. Decide if you want to bump them out of bedding early in the year too or wait a while. Walk slowly and do grid patterns.

Probably not bad idea. Although a little snow is nice too so I would kind of base it off the snow levels.
