The next time she wants to talk about something she likes tell her you don't want to hear anything about it unless she listens or converses with you about hunting. My wife knew before hand that I love hunting, football, and silence.

Now if you want to go the spiritual route, think of your marriage as a triangle. God at the top, and the both of you at either corner at the base. If you follow the lines to God, the closer you get to God, the closer you get to each other.

Been there before. Usually every year I go through this. So far I haven't heard a thing yet but I've also been hunting less and working more unfortunately.

Comes in spurts at my house.... usually once a month *cough - cough*

Right now it is some where around having to seek shelter if she thinks I am even thinking about hunting. As others have said making time for her (and don't get caught checking the forum on your phone lol) I was supposed to hunt last night but didnt go cause I knew it wouldn't end well for me, so stayed home cooked the family dinner, clean the house and did the dishes, then told the kids I would watch some cartoons with them in the den by the fire. She saw me walk to the back door to look out at the feeder and you would have thought she had just caught me with another woman.

    Best of luck my man!

Seriously though there are fellas with much better advice on here than I could give you......

I must be married to the perfect woman. I have buddies in from North Carolina and she refuses to let them stay in a hotel. they stay in our travel trailer and she cooks every night for all of us. Of course both my kids love to hunt as well so she is use to it.
