    Hi,
I found this forum while searching for info about trail cams :) I go fishing with my family a lot; so, no, o hunting or bowhunting, or anything like that. And after seeing some of the pics you've caught with your cams, I'm even more certain that it is a great idea to get one. I've found here some interesting ideas how one can use a trail cam, and I can't wait to try some of them, muhahah :D Maybe you know some other, similar websites?

So, what is important to know about them, when buying it? What features should I look for? And it might be nice if you could also mention some good brands or models, 'cause I'm not very familiar with them.

i think price is a very big thing to consider. not saying to buy the cheapest camera you can find, but good value and quality pictures. there are camera with black.flash, IR flash, and white flash. White flash will give u color night pics and the other two are black and white, with the IR flash being a little brighter. if you want to take pictures or video is something to consider also.

as far as quality pictures go, the covert line is hard to beat. i have no ties to them but they have been great for me, and many others here too. they are priced well, take great pictures, batteries last FOREVER, and you can set them up as you choose too.

Mpe5 is an easy to use camera that can be had for around $70-75. dont let the price fool you becuase its a nice little camera. it has easy to use pre set for pictures and video.

from there the cameras get more advanced. customize the setting to you and a little better picture. MP6 is a very good camera and can be had for around $100. after that there are a few choices and you eill get a few.more choice in set up and a few more features, but still not too much more money.

as i said i have no affiliation with covert, other than having about 10 of their products. i also have a bushnell that i do like very much. it is comparable to the Red 40 but i paid nearly $80 more. the bushnell will take a slightly better night picture but they are the same during light hours and the covert was cheaper and is easier to set up. not to mention the customer service if you would happen to need it.

I'm pretty sure the original post is spam. I did not click the link.
