New to the thought of buying a Crossbow due to a shoulder injury, what are the top 3 and what camo patterns and colours are available too. I was hoping that I could get a realtree snow camo pattern like Elite bows use. Still got the winter and spring to strenghten the shoulder,so hopefully I can stay with my compound. Just looking into the thought of having to purchase one. Also pricing, how high can I expect to pay with the whole deal for a package and what would be an average for a setup. I have all winter to figure this out so I'm planning on doing some homework and with aid of this forum, maybe start my later years of bowhunting, crossbow hunting!!! Thanks for any help you folks can put before me.

PS never thought this day would come, truly a bowhunter by choice! Course age never ceases to continue either!!!

I have a Barnett Ghost 350 and I love it.. I got it on Sportsmans guide for 539 thru the buyers club.. After a case and 6 extra bolts I was at $700 out the door after tax and shipping.. Its Realtree AVG.. When I was shopping I was into the ghost the buck comander the Excalibur Vortex and a couple titans.. I liked the Parker Hornet and Tornado too but they had some vibration.. I shot a Titan HLX and it was nice too.. Honestly all modern crossbows in the $500-$1000 pricepoint are pretty decent.. The big thing is maintenance.. You have to take care of them..

You"ll love the Ten Point....try the turbo xlt or the Titan Xtreme...I've shot most of the brands and Ten Point and excalibers are the best...and reliable...

Do yourself a favor , check out the Stryker Stryke Zone 350 & 380. Good price , great speed, quiet, great balance, comes with all you need , except broad heads. Also Bowtech has awsome customer service, and a great warrenty. Hope this helps Jeff

Can't go wrong with an Excalibur. Recurve is the only way to go IMO. More user friendly and less moving parts. Either way you decide I would definetly check out Wyvern Creations. They have the best package deals in the business.
