I was a hard core deer hunter until I got hooked on Turkeys.....If you have not hunted Turkey yet....don't.

    They will ruin your life/job/marriage.....

I don't like turkeys as much as deer, but they are most def my second favorite. Super fun. It's the communication that I love so much. That's the reason that I would think that Elk would be a blast. I'm gonna start bow hunting turkeys more. I only did that once, like four years ago, and I missed the only turkey I saw. I didn't have a range finder then, and I hit at her feet.

My dream hunt with a bow would be Alaska/Yukon moose. A close 2nd would be Grizzly Bear.

In reality, aka "hunts I can afford", I'd like to do an antelope hunt in Wyoming and a Black Bear hunt out West in Idaho or somewhere witha lot of color phase bears. After that, I'd like to do an elk hunt.

    Great topic!
I would love to hunt elk. not sure I'm in good enough shape to traverse the moutainous terrain, but I'd still love to be able to do that.

    second, Moose.
I would like to do a candian moose hunt. we have a season here in MN, but to me, a hunt is as much about the getting away and seeing the different parts of the country as it is the hunt itself.

third, back to white tails. I think ...no, I know I want to hunt BIG bucks out of state.
as hard as I hunt here, I think hunting shelter belts and cropland would be a walk in the park.

I have absolutely NO interest in hunting anything in africa or outside of the continent of north america for that matter.

Elk would be number one, but I just scheduled a Yukon moose hunt for this upcoming September due to a cancellation by a buddy of mine. This past year I did my first elk hunt, which I loved, but I really want to harvest one. Then, a mule deer and on to a big bear hunt (grizz or brown). If I can get in shape one day, i'd love to do a bighorn hunt but don't know if I'll ever get to that one.

Dream hunt would be Elk although I want to pig hunt with my bow more than whitetails most of the time. The bad thing is there are alot of pigs on our corp land around here and I just haven't got my lazy butt out there and hunted yet!

The list of stuff I have no intrest in would be Caribou and Prongs, don't ask me why cuz I don't know!

Well so far I have to my bow "credits" whitetail, bear, elk, turkey, coyote and next August I'm due to hunt Pronghorn.

Although I wish I could hunt bull elk every year, been there done that so it's on to another species.

I do want to take a record book whitetail and although I missed the opportunity this year, I'll be doing that again next year along with my Pronghorn hunt.

That said, Bull moose, caribou, muledeer are on my list in no particular order.

Even though I have already taken down a small bull elk...I never stop thinking about going after elk. The mule deer were fun...but they were nothing like a bugle of a worked up bull at 50 yards to get you trembling!! I was so worked up after shooting that elk that I couldn't find the huge blood trail that it left. I felt stupid once my buddy got there and I had settled down a little. He showed me blood all over the place and called me an idiot! Truly was a great moment!!

I am a little different, I really don't have a desire to hunt elk, if I could choose one trip to go on, it would definetly be a bow hunt for Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep. In my eyes, they are more majestic than elk, and its probablly one of the toughest hunts in North America.

    Can't say I have a #1.

I'd like to get a Moose in Ak. I'd love to catch the caribou migration. Being up in the mountains trying not to fall to my death and maybe score on a mountain goat would be sweet. Spot and stalk bear. Spot and stalk mulies. Axis deer in Hawaii. Elk in the mountains. Yeah, there are far more I'd like to go after than not.

I need time and lots more money.

Mine are with money in mind.

No $$ restraints? A coastal brown bear on Kodiak Island with my bow.

Money on mind...Mine was pronghorn, did it. Now is the other deer species found in NA. starting with sitka blacktails.

Other than the deer, it goes black bear, mtn goat, cougar, javelina, hogs, elk, caribou, moose, etc....in that order.

Justin, if you're serious about the antelope hunt... PM me.

It's pretty close but I think Elk (when in the rut) are my favorite. Shooting a mule deer on a spot and stalk adventure is extremely rewarding as well. It's cool when you have the opportunity to make something happen rather than putting yourself in a position for something to happen.
