What songs do you (have you) sing to your kids to help them get to sleep?

    My dad used to sing this song all the time when I was a kid because he loved it so much and I just started it one day when our youngest would not go to sleep because I lost all hope with everything else. He went to sleep in 5 min. once I started this song.

    I wish my dad could witness his grandchildren going to sleep to his favorite song.

    I now sing it to both of our kids anytime they are having trouble and it works wonders.

    The first song I sang to my daughter was 90 Minute Water Wall by The National



    But I mostly just sing whatever pops into my head, like "We are walking around, walking around, walking around..." or "It's going to be ok, it's all going to be ok.." over and over and over and over again.

    I used to sing Bob Marley's Three Little Birds to my daughter to get her to sleep. Worked like a charm.
