I have always shot with a 3/16" peep, both target and hunting. The deer around me are really late movers, only offering low light shots, making it hard to see through my peep. I have been considering going to 1/4" for hunting to allow more light, but wondering how it will affect accuracy especially at longer shots? BTW, I have a Tru Glo removable peep, so if I just take my insert out, I am looking through 1/4" peep. I know the only way to know how I will shoot with 1/4" is to try it, I just wanted to know what everyone is using...

I get the biggest one they have at the bow shop which is 1/4".It does help extend the time you have to shoot in lower light conditions. I also shoot with both eyes, But as accuracy goes i shoot out to 65 yards accurately in the back yard so i dont think you would have any problems just have to practice with it and see how it feels.

1/4 for me, bit more light during low light. The key for me was to make sure the peep was very close to the same size as my sight housing
