what size cooler for a quartered deer.

    What size cooler can you fit a quartered deer in?

    If you remove a lot of bone, a deer doesn't take up much room..... but I would use a minimum of a 100 quart cooler because there needs to be room for ice to cool the meat down.

    Nope. I have 2 Yeti's. I will buying a third in october. I want the yeti hopper which is the soft side cooler

    as said bone it out and it will easily fit in two coolers with ice for a large doe or buck A trophy yearling doe will fit in one :nana:

    I've got it to fit in my yeti 50 after being dressed and cut up, could have probably got it in my 35 if deboned but wouldn't have much room for ice.

    I'm optimistic this year, I'm installing a sears mark 5000 chest freezer in my truck....

    100 quarts gives plenty of room with minimal field work though
