I am in the market for a new sight or at least I will be soon. I am the type that takes me a lot of research to choose something like this. Heck it took me 4 months to decide on the Apache rest and the a month to make sure I wanted it before I bought it. I do know some of the features of a higher end sight that I would like to have. Here is what I am looking for:
    -$100.00 or under.
    -tooless adjustment
-descending sight pin sizes or at least all of them .019
    -4 pins
-bright sight bright orange, neon yellow or white
    -long arm style mount

I like the Extreme Archery Raptor as of right now.

What sights do you use and what features do you feel are most important on your sight?

Check out the Truglo Super Slam, no tools, easy adjustments, easy to sight in.

I just bought the Tru Glo Carbon XS the day before yesterday. I shot for about 2 hours with it and I love it. Pins are small and very bright, installation is easy (required tools though) and it is very light. I would recommend giving it a look. It cost me $60 and it was sure worth it.

You cant go wrong with the new Tru-glo Micro brite... under $100. all tool-less, micro adjust. decending pin size, soft almost rubber like finish, & comes with LED light :) bowhuntersuperstore.com sells them at great prices

Montana Black Gold. Lifetime warranty, built in the States, brightest pins out there, and probably the best customer service in the industry.

I will never own anything else

Next time I am out at the pro shop, I will look into some of these a little more. He has a huge selection of sights. When I first started looking at sights on line I really liked the Copper Johns Dead Nuts sight. I looked at it in the store when I had my string installed and I was really disappointed. The quality wasn't what I expected it to be. I did look at the Tru Glo Micro Brite and did like what I saw. I have a cheaper true glow now and i like it but, it lacks some things I would like to have. one is the size of the pin shafts. They are too wide at the base where they mount and obstruct the field of view some. I also had to paint the sight ring a bright green so that it would be easier to line the peep up with it. I am just going to have to look around for a while before i find one that fits what I want in a sight I guess. I am a pretty picky person when it comes to these type of things I guess.

This is just my opinion but if I were you I would keep what you have for now and save up for a spot hog or axcel armortech.

I am keeping it through the end of this season. I am comfortable with it and don't want to change anything else right now. I have changed everythinig on the bow except the sights in the past week. Stabilizer, rest, string, D-loop, string silencers and peep. All I will be buying now is a new quiver. I think that is enough to get aquanted with before season opener. I have plenty of time to figure out wich one I want. I will look into thes two also.

HHA. Hands down the best sight I have had. One pin adjustable is the way to go for me.

Same here, bought one a few years ago and still love the thing. I might look into some smaller pins, but I'm not in a rush.

Im not real picky as long as it gets the job done. My last three were Copper John dead nuts, good sights but prone to fiber breakage due to snags. Sword sights, no complaints about that one, and currently Viper sights, will know after season how they pan out, seem to be nice so far!
