So I'm finally ordering and buying the accessories for my hunting bow this year. Just got off the phone from ordering the sight that will go on my primary hunting bow this year. I will likely order another sight though for the backup bow, and just can't afford to buy 2x of these sights exactly like this one right now.

The primary sight should be here by the end of the week. It's a 5 pin Spot Hogg Hunter Hogg-IT, with the large pin guard, wrapped, a green .029 on top, and alternating yellow/green .019's from there down. :ninja:

What do you have and how do you like it?

Let's see ... this might take a while for you to grasp the concept, so follow slowly here.. ok? ;)

On both my primary hunting bows, I've got Spot Hogg Hunter Hogg Its with large pin guards featuring wrapped fibers. The top pin is a green .29, followed by a yellow .19, then a green .19 and another yellow .19.

    :d

Heh.....trust me I'd love to have another of these, but if the wife to be finds out I bought a new bow and spent nearly $500 on bow sights all on the same day, I may spend a few nights on the couch. :whip:

Anyone wanna buy a good condition Sword Apex Micro 3rd plane with 5 .010 pins? :d

I didn't buy mine in the same year either, bro. ;)

I've got a Hogg It on my Connie with the small pin guard and wrapped pins in alternating green and yellow pins in .10... I wish I had ordered those in .19s, as my eyes just aren't as good as they were when I was younger and the .10s are a little TOO fine. That's actually how I came to settle on what I wanted for my hunting bows was after trying that rig out.

I have a 7 pin Trophy Taker. I used it for the 1st time last year, and was pretty happy with it.

I have a 4 pin CJ Dead Nuts 2 that I'll be hunting with this fall. I wanted .019 pins but the local shop didn't have that particular model in stock unless I stepped up to the 5 pin mico-adjust model which I didn't feel I needed. So I'm stuck with .029 pins for now, which work just fine. The 4 pin model is green/yellow only which is nice. I never cared much for the red pins anyways. So far so good with it. I outshot the yahoos I was shooting with this past weekend. :D

Yeah, I've gotten comletely away from using red pins these days... even though my tip in Field & Steam this month promotes it. ;)

I'm shooting the HHA Optimizer Lite. The OL5519, to be exact. 5 feet of wrapped, green, 019 fibre w/ a rheostat to adjust brightness. Somebody put some serious thought into this site, I absolutely love it!

Spot-Hogg Hogg-it with wrap and 5 .019 pins green, red, green, red, green. This could very well be the last site I ever own . I also put a PSE site light on it for twilight hog hunts.

Hot dang, some of your alls sights cost more than my hole rig! I picked up a TRUGLO Range Rover with the Tritium Fiber Optic pin at a Sports Shop sidewalk sale for less than 40.00 last year. Just sight her in out to 60.

I got a Sword Apex Micro 3rd plane sight, 5 0.19 pins. I really like the sight, I do wish there was micro adjustment for individual pins, but it is still a great sight, the three stage light is very nice.

Plain old cobra sidewinder, 3-pins. Don't even know the sizes, whatever came stock I guess. I was using a Tru-Glo pendulum sight but it was quite noisy on the release.
