What should you hunt over?

    What do you perfer to hunt over food, water, trail movement or bedding area?

    Pinch points, saddles, benches, fence lines, blow downs, ect.. Anything that forces deer into an exact spot.

    Depends on the time of the year. Early on, for me it's food. As the rut kicks in, it's funnels, pinch points, and doe bedding. Later on it's back to food.

    Seriously though, each individual property and time of year would change my preference. I don't think you can rubber stamp any one of them as your all time favorite.

    i think it depends on the time and temperature but its pretty much what everyone else has stated above from that point on.

    I like to hunt over all of that and sometimes in weird places. Some of my best luck has come from sitting on a fence row in the middle of it some where. The deer use this area to travel a lot and they work up and down the fence, I have one tree to sit in and can cover both sides. Every year I have been successful out of the stand.
