I'm down in central Texas and I'm looking for a mixture of seeds. I'm using about a 1 acre field. This past year I used turnips and rye and they didn't hit that hard at all. Any recommendations? Got a soil test done, said it could grow almost anything!
Whitetail Institute Imperial Clover is my go to for my spring plots and it will continue attract deer throughout the fall. Broadcast some oats, wheat, rye, or any other cereal grain into the clover come fall. As well as a late season crop, like turnips, radishes, or kale. You said they didn't hit the turnips, which is normal. It can sometimes take 2-3 years for them to start hitting it. Maybe try radishes or kale this year.
