here is my situation i posted my public land on here awhile back, and got some tips on where to sit. my plan for tomorow is to sit on the southern border which should allow me to see deer heading back to bed. here is what i am wondering, how long should i sit tomorow? should i sit on the trail that goes from food to bed all day or just for a little bit then move somewhere else? give me any and all tips you have. i have all day to hunt, but i dont know how long i can sit there if there is no activity like there hasnt been the last few evenings, (hoping the morning will be better) the land is Nodaway lake conservation area in missouri also one more question, while walking recently i scared two does out of bedding, would it pay off to sit near this site? or are they probably not going to come back to the area to bed? sorry for such generic questions just looking for some tips to get a deer, i dont care if it is a doe or buck, its all meat to me right now. thank you guys, this website has helped me a lot so far and hopefully ill get some more tips so i can arrow a deer. ive only got one small doe so far so i hope i can get at LEAST one more. i basically live off deer meat, being a poor college student.
also ill add, when i get to the stand in the morning it will be 24 degrees with 3 mph winds the high for friday will be 48 (pretty hot for this area) saturday the temp drops all day. i should be able to hunt atleast the morning and possible the evening. i know sat will be better but i would still like some input for friday
