How many in burst and how long of a pause are you guys using? Name your camera too while you're at it. I'm getting tired of deleting 2000 pics and keeping the 40 that I like. I just don't wanna miss any opportunity to get footage of my good bucks.

    Lets hear it!

Between 15 and 30 second delay depending on the cam. All homebrews so the "burst" is as fast as the cam can reset, and recharge the flash (if necessary). I don't see the necessity of speed at a mineral or bait site.

Well, with my trophy cam & it's wide detection, I sometimes get a trigger as a weary buck approaches and he's not in frame yet. The same weary bucks tend to move one quickly too. (Sensitivity is at low BTW)

Blade, for instance, only sticks around for 1-3 minutes, where a few of the does and a couple buttons will stand there for 45 min!

I have a 3 shot burst and typically set it for 20 seconds or so. I've been getting 2300+ images a week. I switched, to a 2 min gap, and still got 1600 images.

Sounds like you need a Black 60 Fitz :D

3 shot burst 45 second delay here but I don't mind sorting pics.

It's a tough call. I mean you want to get every animal that steps in but You don't want to fill the card with just a few animals either. Depending on the speed of the camera I go with a two shot burst one minute delay on my Bushnell. Of course I run alot of homebrews which really don't have that option. I also use the 2/1 settings on my Moultrie M80. I still have to go thru alot of pics to get the ones I want.

    Blessings........Pastorjim

Fitz I use 1 minute delay and 2 shot burst on my Coverts on almost every thing except scrapes then I use half of my cameras on 3 shot bursts and the other half on video.

I can't stand sorting through thousands of pics/week. Especially during this time of year. Sometimes I'll get a buck or a doe at my mineral site that stays for over 30 minutes. With the 3-shot burst mode I've gotten over 300 pics of the same animal. If I click the mouse fast enough it looks like an old fashioned movie playing. Too much for me. Now I have them set for 1 pic every minute.
