What scope for a Mossberg 500

    I got a Mossberg 500 12 gauge for Christmas and I'm looking to put a good scope on it. My main question is are there different scopes for rifles and shotguns. I've got a fully rifled barrel on it, so would I be fine putting a riflescope on it? If so, any recommendations on specific scopes. Ideally I'd like to keep it below $150

    Redfield, some of the best quality in that range. Got one on my ML and love it.
