I've read GREAT information off the forums about paper tuning ones bow.
I still have one unanswered question; what paper should I use?

I'm guessing, it should tear really easy....like the cheap gift wrapping my wife buys!

Gift wrapping? Newsprint? Something more along the line of "kraft paper"? 2, 4 mils thick?

    Thanks in advance!

I have used a roll of butcher-wrapping paper in the past. I thought it worked pretty good.

The butcher paper and wax paper both work well.

Butcher paper is pretty common, though I've used sheets of paper out of my printer for the last 4 years or so. I cut a 8x10.5" hole in the bottom of a cardboard box, then I tac or tape the sheet to it and presto, I'm paper tuning.

This is what I use too. I use plotter paper that we have laying around from old drawings at work.

Regular 8 1/2 X 11" printer paper, wax paper, etc.. I don't care for using newspaper as it seems too thin and often the tears seem over exaggerated.

I use red rosin paper that you would use for covering a floor during construction.
I like to use the heavier paper so that the tear will be more true. Using the light weight paper I have always gotten an over tear which is very frustrating to say the least.
You can buy it at most home centers. Here is a link for home depot Trimaco 36 in. x 166 ft. Heavy-Weight Red Rosin Paper-36099 at The Home Depot

I've taped newspaper to a ladder several times.

Home Depot has rolls of painters paper I think I paid $2.97 for the roll. Works well.
