I've decided to put my 22' Flats boat up for sale because I just don't use it much or at all anymore. My weekends off are now hunting, working on the lease or at Archery shoots. So when season comes and I do fish I'm really not up to speed on where the fish are and how best to catch them.

Just plan on using the money to hire guides that know the area and fish in the future and fish on their boats.

Have not really given up anything, I don't have to travel to hunt and that makes it easier.

I've kind of given up golf. I used to play league and did that for like 4 years. I no longer play and don't really miss it. I'm saving myself lots of money by not being a member and golf equipment plus the green fees. :tu:

Nothing. Since archery and bowhunting are my only recreational passions (and the business life Ive chosen). Hence, I enjoy it year round and don't have time for lesser activities that I obviously don't enjoy as much. I feel no way robbed or deprived or that I'm missing anything. It was a brilliant choice on my part.

I gave up wasting money in bars and partying. My wife and kids were actually the reason but bowhunting filled that void. Gave me a good reason why I couldn't go out (when I got more serious about hunting) I used to do both but getting up with a hangover to hunt was getting hard . I don't miss those days at all. Thank you bowhunting Gods for saving my soul!

It is one of those things that frustrates me more than anything. I do enjoy getting out on the tee box crushing drives, but I'd rather put my money towards hunting. Nothing more than I love than spending time in the woods. :tu:

    Pretty much the same here.

Having our kid any time in the next three weeks so it'll slow down more than it already has but don't plan to give anything up. Helps that the wife hunts and ice fishes with me as well.

I gave up fat chicks and mopeds. In no particular order.

Haven't given up golf completely but saved money on not playing league this year and not golfing 3 times a week to save on getting a flagship bow next month.

I use to race cross country mountain bikes for about 7 years. It took a ton of time, I would ride hundreds of miles a month to train. Once I had my first kid 4 years ago, just didn't have the time to put into it. So I just hunt now. Haven't been on a bike in over 3 years, sometimes I do miss it.

I've really not given up to much. I was involved in air guns for a while. I still have them & shoot them every now and then. Just don't spend the money on them like I used to. I've tried to sale some before but when it came down to it I couldn't. Just some thing about smokin' a hog with my .50 cal air rifle or my .25 cal.

They're fun to ride, until your friends see you riding on them!

Tournament bass fishing. I miss it a lot but not as much as I'd miss bowhunting. I still haven't even burned the fogging oil off in my boat this year. Maybe this weekend?

Flyfishing & fishing in general. I still fish in the offseason but from sept 15 thru Jan 15 it's all bowhunting. The offseason is a mix of getting ready to hunt & fishing.

I was a diehard duck hunter for about 17 years, and when I say die hard I was ate up with it... buddy talked me into bow hunting 3 years ago and that's all I can think about now. Slinging an arrow at a pig in my first hunt got my adrenaline pumping Like Ive never had before. I sold my mud boat this year that i had for 7 years because i just wasn't using it anymore. Weekends off are now dedicated to working on my deer lease.

This is my never ending inner conflict..... I can't give the waterfowl up but man do they ever conflict. At least where I'm at the waterfowling doesn't get good until deer prime time is winding down. I've learned to not get so gung ho on the birds till mid to late December :tu:
