If you were in his shoes you wouldn't take the bet but you will only bet if he takes your bet. Classless Jeff, just pure classless.
Then why not take his bet????? You don't need the money but you want to win the bet and prove you are the man right????
Wait a second...... I say no hard feelings if he doesn't accept mine.....but there's hard feelings if I don't accept his???? "Classless"? You don't see a double-standard??? What's the basis of your involvement, here, anyways? I don't get it.
You wanted to bet money, he said how about something else. You are confident and want his money Jeff, it is classless. I had a neighbor that wanted to bet me $1,000.00 on the Bears game today. I do not bet money Jeff, so I made a similar wager and he took it. I could have won the money but seeing him have to buy a Packers Jersey and wear it to a Super Bowl party in the neighborhood is Priceless Jeff You just won't get it. The dude can't afford to lose money, so you walk away with an overtone that he must not be confident. Take a bet that you can both afford, that is if you can handle losing and being humiliated. Knowing how hard it is for you to handle a signature that paints you in a negative light it is easy to see you can't afford HIS bet.
Nice try Jeff but you aren't going to try to weasel out of this classless act. You can't afford the humiliation, correct????
Let's just say I have better things to do than to engage in such childish games (I'm not the one doing the name-calling, here). No hard feelings.
I thought so, you can't lay your pride on the line with Siman and would rather lose cash than look like a fool for a month.
I'd feel like more of a fool, if I took such a bet in the 1st place. What's so hard to understand......that it interests me NONE?
If you see ANY logic in what you're saying.......you're right.....I don't understand. No hard feelings. Let it go.
Every team I've pulled for in the post season has lost. I don't really care about the two left. If anyone has a favorite, I can be bought to root for the other team. :D
I leave to go to Chicago for a couple days and return to see another thread gone to ****. Imagine who would be involved......? Anyways, it sure was fun watching our QB quit. Plain and simple....Cutler is a quiter.
[QUOTEImagine who would be involved......? ][/QUOTE] Grab your instrument, 2Lung. They're getting the band back together!
A man goes to the Chicago Bears ticket office and inquires about purchasing super bowl tickets. The ticket teller replies that there weren't any tickets for sale because the Bears did not make it to the Super Bowl. The following day the same man goes to the Chicago Bears ticket office and inquires about purchasing Bears Super Bowl tickets. The ticket teller politely replies that there weren't any tickets for sale because the Bears did not make it to the Super Bowl. This goes on for an entire week. The man again goes to the Chicago Bears ticket office inquiring about Super Bowl tickets and the teller says none are for sale because the Bears did not make it to the Super Bowl.Another week of this goes by and the man still is asking the ticket teller about Bears Super Bowl tickets. Finally the ticket teller in a loud voice says, "I'VE TOLD YOU FOR THE LAST 2 WEEKS THERE WERE NOT ANY TICKETS AVAILABLE BECAUSE THE BEARS DID NOT MAKE IT TO THE SUPER BOWL!!!" The man replied, "I know. I drive all the way from Green Bay just to hear you say that."
