I thought there would be a lot of smack talk going on with this game. What up? Packers kill the Bears by 21
Gawd I hope you are right because this game is for all the marbles. Not only are you going to the Superbowl if you win, but you knocked out your most hated rival. The winner is in pure ecstasy and the loser may as well crawl in a hole till next fall. Wayyyyyyyyy too much emotion for me to make any type of logical unbiased opinion this one.
Celebrating a little hard for MLK day, today? I was pretty impressed with the Bears on Sunday until the laxed on defense in the 4th quarter. It's going to be a close game and I give the Bears the homefield advantage. I say the Bears win by 10.
I have no idea.....But, is this really the most hated rivalry these teams have? Both teams feel this way?
November 14, 1995 Several Bears football fans reportedly took out their anger over the Sunday loss to the Green Bay Packers by duct-taping a packer fan to a stop sign. The unidentified man was forcibly removed from KC’s Cabin on IL. Hwy 173 in Spring Grove by the Bears fans and taped to the sign along with a placard above his head that read “Packers Fan”, according to Police records. Police said the man apparently was “dogging” the Bear fans about the Packers’ victory, and that the man, who was cut loose from the signpost by a police officer, did not wish to sign a complaint. What this report fails to mention is that motorists just honked, waved and gestured... but did not cut him loose.
My biggest concern about this game is the field conditions. The field sucks this time of year at Soilder field. This is going to slow down the Packers pass game and play more into the hands of the Bears stingey defense and run game. If this game were played someplace warm or in a dome Packers by 14. Pack is favored by 3 last I looked. Has that ever happened where a 6 seed is favored on the road in an NFC championship game ?
Honestly....the happenings of most NFL teams (especially several states away) really don't hang our moon, here. And, we never used Brett's jock to sift our coffee. Must be hard for YOU to comprehend, Siman.
As hard as it would be hard for YOU to comprehend, Jeff, Brett Favre has little to do with this rivalry. Minnesota, yes. Bears...nope.
Thanks. Honestly, with all the GB/Minn. talk from last year (and early, this season)......I had no idea.
Theres the fact that the bears suck recently (null that Super Bowl season), and havnt had a real QB to counter with till they got Cutler. MN was the opposite.
I was watching our local news here and they said tickets were going as high as $8,000 at Soldier Field. That's crazy!! As for who wins, I think the Pack wins In a close one.
