I currently use a t/c hawken, and am researching a custom flintlock .54. I feel like muzzleloader season should be kept at its "primitive" roots, otherwise might as well let me use my 4570.

T/C omega. Good gun for the money. Also have a cheapo cva I bought back in college that whacked many deer.

I shoot a Investarms model 200 in .45 cal. The gun is a tack driver and a pleasure to shoot. I will be passing this rifle down to my 15 year old son this year and upgrading to a .50 cal but not sure on what brand yet.

Got an older TC Omega that has put deer down and also got a TC Triumph that I have been very impressed with. Guns don't make it out to the woods with me much more though

Use a Traditions Pursuit 50cal for out of state hunts but Missouri changed their muzzleloader season to an alternative methods season which made handguns legal . Now I get to use a Ruger Super Blackhawk Bisley Hunter in 44mag during what used to be our muzzleloader season if I still have a buck tag , if not I'll be bowhunting .

I'm just not a fan of how it breaks open, and I'd like to have a thumbhole stock, too. What loads do you use?
