Its unreal, if people only knew how screwed up NY...they would take all our guns in heartbeat if they thought they could. The idea that we should compromise with these people is totally insane.
Many, including myself, believe they are going to try. Start small and build their way up. In reality, In a criminals hands, in most cases, theres not a lot of differences from one gun to the other. They know that. If someone is in a school with a single shot shotgun they can do as much damage as the guy in Sandy Hook did. Might take longer, but whos gonna stop him? They are going to blame semi autos and large mags/clips, try to take them first, then start picking everything else off over time. I just hope Im dead and gone before they make some real headway.
We don't want to find out by giving them the chance to try. For sure there are people in our government that would be more than happy to disarm everyone. There are other people in the government that are willing to fight to defend our right. The only way we can guarantee to maintain our rights it by making it known, and making it known loudly that we will not idley stand by while the government erodes away our right to bear arms bit by bit.
