I've killed at least one deer with my bow since 1992, most years more, up to 10 one year when the farmer wanted every doe we saw killed. They were ruining his crops.

I'm on a 2 year buckless streak tho. Been waiting on a monster to walk in front of me and he hasn't cooperated lately. Could have killed small bucks but chose not too.

My new buck streak starts this year.

My current "streak" is from 2006-2010 which includes killing at least one deer per year and as many as five. I went buckless last year as I looked to arrow a 3.5+ year old buck. The only year since 2002 that I did not kill at least one deer with my bow was 2005. I went "big" buck or bust and told myself I would not shoot at any deer unless it was a big buck. What a humbling year, and to be honest unfulfilling as I did not even shoot a doe.

    2007- none
    2008- Doe
    2009- doe & buck
    2010- doe
2011- hope for a dbl :tu:

Last year was the first time since 2001 that I was skunked in WI for rifle season, but I did cut the season short for our belated honeymoon.

I'd have to go back and look at my photo album. I have pics of every deer I ever got since 1977 with bow, rifle, muzzleloader...129 total I think

    I do know that in 2005 I didn't get a deer with a bow

And in 2008 no bow kills

I'm pretty sure I've taken at least one deer per year with a bow since sometime around 1988 or so. Most of those were does. Some years I've gotten as many as 4 with a bow.

Again, I'd have to go back and look, but I feel sure that this pretty accurate.

Forgot to add, I hunted in West Virginia for 16 years and in PA for over 30 years

I'm currently in a dry spell when it comes to bucks with the bow, three seasons since my last horn. Had plenty of chances and killed some does in that time. Just didn't come within range of what I wanted. On another note, I did start a streak already this year of shooting my wifes swimming pool, a streak I don't want to continue!

    Blessings......Pastorjim

My most interesting streak is 14 deer in a row w/a compound since the last time I've missed('06) a whitetail. I have missed one with my longbow in there.
I've got at least one deer with a bow since 97.
I'm 2 years in a row shooting a buck behind my house.

This will be my 4th season bowhunting. So far, I am 3 for 3 on bucks, and I killed one doe in '09 with my bow and 4 last season. I have never missed a deer, but I didn't recover a buck in '09. I can still see the shot in my head, and it drives me crazy to this day!

    Started Bowhunting in 03.
    51 deer to date.
At least 1 buck every year.
Last 4 years 2 bucks each year.
    6 between 134" and 160".
Not really sure how many in a row. never counted but I know for certain I have killed 18 in a row with a Rage 2 blade.
I know this sounds like alot, but I am very fortunate to have access to alot of great property here in Illinois.

I've been extremely lucky and I really don't want to jinx it, but okay. This will be my fifth year bowhunting. My first year I killed four does with my bow. My second year I killed five does with my bow. My third year I killed two bucks (one of which was my best so far, a half-way decent 10 point) and three does with my bow. Last year I killed one buck (a rather embarrasing 8 point) and four does with my bow. So far I haven't missed a deer I've shot at and I've recovered every deer I've hit. Now I need to find some wood to knock on. PT, if this jinxes me I'm gonna fly to New York and track you down. :)

With my bow I am one for two. Shot a 3.5 two years ago and missed what I believe was a 3.5 last year.

This is a strange question for me.

1995 - first year deer hunting 3/3 button buck, doe, doe
    1996 - 3/3 Doe, 6pt, 8pt (120s)
    1997 - 2/2 Doe, Doe
    1998 - 3/4 Doe, Doe, 6pt, Shoulder hit on big 8pt - no recovery
    1999 - 1/1 Doe (last year hunting)
2010 - 0/2 Missed a Doe because my peep sight wasn't tied in (shot over her twice), Shoulder hit a small buck that we have pictures of this year. First season back
2011 - Prediction 3/3 - it's time to take it back to the old school.
